Insyst ("we", "us", or "the app") helps you create, organize, and receive reminders across workspaces and shared collections.
1 Information We Collect
- Account information — your name, email address, and password (stored encrypted) when you register.
- Content you create — reminders, collections, workspaces, and any titles, descriptions, or dates you add.
- Membership data — which workspaces and collections you belong to, and your role/permissions in each.
- Device tokens — push notification tokens (FCM / Web Push) used solely to deliver reminder alerts to your devices.
- Technical data — basic log information such as IP address, timestamps, and timezone for security and correct reminder timing.
2 How We Use Your Information
- To provide the core service — storing your reminders and showing them to you and the people you share collections with.
- To send reminder notifications at the times you set, via push notifications and email.
- To enforce access control so only authorized members of a workspace or collection can view its data.
- To secure your account, prevent abuse, and maintain the reliability of the service.
3 Data Sharing Within Workspaces
Reminders and collections are shared with other members of the same workspace or collection according to their assigned roles and permissions. Members with appropriate access (for example, workspace owners and admins) may view content within their workspace. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising.
4 Push Notifications
We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) and Web Push to deliver reminder alerts. Device tokens are used only for this purpose and are removed when they become invalid or when you sign out. You can disable notifications at any time from your device or app settings.
5 Data Retention
We retain your account and content for as long as your account is active. When you delete a reminder, collection, workspace, or your account, the associated data is removed from our active systems. Some records may persist briefly in backups before being overwritten.
6 Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted passwords and access tokens, role-based access control, and secure transport (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
7 Your Rights
- Access and update your account information from the app settings.
- Delete your reminders, collections, or your entire account at any time.
- Request a copy or deletion of your data by contacting us.
8 Children's Privacy
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
9 Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by notifying you in the app.
